It was premature. The benefits recognized by Russian businesses don’t amount to higher taxes paid from higher income made on freer trade, that then provide even basic services to the Russian mainstream population. Entrance into the WTO at this time w/o Russia having jailed its government thieves (fix its internal problems) only is to give the thieves more to steal. The Russian people as a whole will derive no benefit from entrance into the WTO. Accepting Russia into the WTO when its legal system pretty much is a farce sends the wrong message that we accept it as it is. WTO members are loons to extend unconditional love kumbayah to the Kremlin. Russia its not put pet!
